Saturday night probably is not the best night for a first visit to a popular restaurant, but we couldn't have been happier. Very well worth a visit.

Stopped on the way back from Mass, saw the reviews, mid day on a Saturday. I had the chicken sandwich and wife had the fish and chips. Service was ok, think she was overwhelmed by lunch crowd, but we got our stuff. Bread was hot and fresh, both portions were huge, I was only able to eat half the sandwich, fries were crispy and salty, wife said her fish was great. Thank you for a good lunch

I have been coming to Basils often usually after a big event my friends and I will call ahead and we usually get some amazing service, however I did give it only 4 stars because I did have only one instance of when my service was bad. The single instance was the waiter kind of came off rude, he brought me a coffee that was old coffee, like left out on the burner kind of taste and was served spilled in a small coffee platter, when one of my friends moved to talk to us from one end of the table the waiter asked for us to stay in our seats because its easier for him to keep tallies on who ordered what, which I understood, but our full table had not yet arrived. Now I understand, maybe the day was rough. We all have them, so I wasn't too upset. I just wish the coffee was served better. Other than that, every other experience was great! Always nice to get a hello and welcome, atmosphere was nice, environment was very clean and the portion sizes will make you question if you should have ordered that appetizer! I don't regret it one bit, I just wish I had more space for it. I always look forward to coming here after a long week.

Little Italy with the full flavor. BIG portions, you can taste every spice, just like you are suppose to, well drink are not iced down, bread is so fresh, it's steaming still, friendly and very efficient staff, they work as a team and do it very good..Always something going on in the banquet room. Great place for 1st date or after shopping or just to sit and have a family supper... I'm not a professional food critic BUT I give this them 5 golden spoons...

Phenomenal food and huge portion sizes! You can get 2-3 meals out of each dish! French onion soup is great, and highly recommend an order of eggplant fries for a starter! The fresh warm bread is awesome. We had chicken parm, eggplant parm, chicken and broccoli alfredo, and basil’s veal. Every dish was great. Service was also exceptional, always stopped by the refill our drinks and check if we needed anything.

My Sweetheart and I went the other night, Friday night. It wasn't so, so, so busy, which it usually is, so we went for it. Its always busy. Our server was wonderfully attentive and we didn't have to ask for much. We both ordered bugers , which were so huge I could hardly bite it. Those were perfectly delicious and, did i mention, huge?! I could only finish 1/2 of it and brought the other half home. I had ordered a berry sangria drink, which was ok. Not really something I'd normally order, but good enough that I drink it all anyway. We were satisfied and stuffed. I walked away with the other half of my burger for tomorrow!
